Capacity is approx, (1K=1024 1M=1024K) some formatted, some unformatted Geometry is (usually) physical (counts alternate sec & cyl) ~ on cylinder counts means average (zone bit recorded disk) Transfer rates are (usually) avg sustainted rates to/from media. 1K=1000, 1M=1000K, b=bits, B=8-bit bytes.
